Re: Richmond 2014
I'm sure you already know, but check out http://www.amazon.com and http://www.bn.com for your textbooks too. I saved hundreds today and those two websites have 9 out of 12 of my books cheaper than the school bookstore by a LOT OF MONEY. . .even if you buy new.
I also found a website called http://www.directtextbook.com that will compare for your, but it only really gave me a different site for one of the books that the bookstore didn't have and it was on http://www.half.com (predictable.)
At any rate. . . .I've dumped like $600 bucks on my first ten books today and that was a BARGAIN compared to the UR Bookstore.
If any of you are purchasing with a Discover Card, you can get a REALLY great deal. . .Barnes and Noble (bn.com) has most of the books we need at the cheapest price and Discover is doing a 15% cash back bonus (back to school special) on purchases from bn.com when you shop through ShopDiscover. I spent >$400 there today. . .

Call the admissions office and just ask for your section numbers and you'll have a really good idea of the books you need.
The call numbers for the classes are below. . .and if you have your section numbers you'll be able to see what is required.
Torts 514
Property 516
Civil Procedure 515
Law Skills 517
Legal Research 598
You'll only need your section number for the first three because the book reqs for 517/598 are universal.

Yeah, that is a good idea. I am definitely going to call them, they are always so helpful. Thanks for the info on the books, we all need to try to save as much as possible. :/ Was the $600 you already spent just on casebooks or supps too?crysmissmichelle wrote:Foxkid1 wrote: I haven't received mine yet because it was accidently shipped to my old address. That's just required books (and one recommended) :/ and I still have to buy three more required books that are only available at the bookstore but they are about $100 together.
