You were definitely missed tonight Condor and Oreo. Justathought is pretty chill though. I can safely say he kicked my ass at bowling (and now you can bust me all you want on that! Take your revenge!)

All I'll say about bowling is that the other team had some legitimately good bowlers. Now in the grand scheme of things they weren't amazing, but that place had us(law students) and a bunch of hipsters flailing away at the pins. Our "varsity" team, as it was referred to last night, was pretty damn good.

Woke up around 6am and hit the road around 6:45. Basically, if the sky isn't totally dark, I'm awake and doing something.

Its getting close to move in time. Under two weeks. I feel like Oreo because I'm counting the days. Although, admittedly, her date is a little more exciting!

Congrats!
Best wishes to you and your husband! I hope you had a wonderful time and took time to 'take it all in'.
(PS, I have the feeling this is a TLS joke waiting to happen. "You know you're a gunner when...its your wedding night and you're checking in on TLS

I realized it probably was right after I posted that. Congrats Oreo; I'd say you're having a monumental summer thus far!

What's the difference between E&Es and hornbooks? Is one preferable to the other?

Different strokes for different folks really. E&Es, Horbooks and Gilberts all go about teaching the subjects in slightly different ways... TLS seems to think that it really varies from subject to subject because of the different authors. Just do a search in the Law Student forum and you'll pick up pretty quickly which ones TLSers prefer.

I can't speak to the difference between the supplements, but the Torts E&E carefully lays out the requirements for each tort and then provides hypothetical situations in which the reader is left to determine if the hypo met the criteria for the tort in question. A corresponding explanation then explains why the hypo did or did not meet said criteria.

If anyone is looking for an apt in philly. my friend was going to penn law- just got off the waitlist to nyu and now has a room he needs to sublet. he's living with two recent grads who are both working and very easy going and just looking for someone friendly. the apartment is really nice and in a great location. the room is also surprisingly cheap ($800/month). if anyone's looking for an apt, PM me and I can give you more details and pictures.

Bringing this back.
Has anyone tried briefing cases yet? Because I have not, as it seems like the whole process, after finding the facts/rules/holding, is an enormous waste of time.

Oh, and Hobbes, do you know what kind of multiple choice the Lit Basics exam will focus on? I know I shouldn't worry about it, but I can't help myself.

Hi, I am an AU-WCL student currently taking a class with Professor Duru who just recently joined our faculty from Temple. If you have experience with Duru, especially for Civ Pro, please send me a private message. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experiences.
