Is there a minimum hour requirement for the dean's list?

12 hours is required to be a FT student. Not sure what it is for PT. After that, just be in the top 25% of the class for the semester.

But do all 12 hours have to be graded courses? I only took 10 hours that went to my gpa, then a 3 hour extermship that was P/F.

Oh, well. Here's to hoping!

FYI, IMHO, there's no real benefit to getting "dean's list". I guess you can put it on your résumé, but your GPA and rank will speak for themselves.

No, they don't. If you've got at least a 3.5 or so, you're on the List.

No real benefit? Are you forgetting about the off-center letter from the dean's office complete with the dean's computarized signature? Toss that bad boy on the table during your Cravath interview and you're golden.

But you get a really nice letter signed by the Dean!

FWIW, occasionally you'll see it on firm bios.

I know, and I agree. But my confidence needs a boost. At the very least, it will help w/that!

The one I have is kind of old and not too helpful. There's maybe four classes that are on there that are being offered with the same profs next semester.
Mine has a few more than 4. It's 7 pages?

Anyway here's a link: --LinkRemoved--

Is ours the same?
This here is the newest version I've been able to get my hands on!

We're in the process of updating it now. PM me your additions and I'll make sure they get to the right person.

Also - Anyone have an outline for Bridge for Evidence? ...or any evidence outlines for that matter. His exams are always different and his teaching methods could be described as confounding to someone less perceptive as I. :| :x

I'm really sorry, I meant to post this when you originally posted, and then completely forgot.

This will be extraordinarily helpful - http://sdrv.ms/10Yt3ml

This is for Moss, but Evidence is, largely, Evidence - http://sdrv.ms/16QKtFf

Also, CALI lessons are great.

Has anyone taken Law and Science with Ryan?

I'm in Crim Pro II with Ryan (I assume you mean Meghan Ryan?) and I like her a lot. She's engaging, funny, and tries to make things interesting. I didn't take that class with her, but I know several people who have taken various classes with her and like her a lot.

Can't speak on that class in particular, but she's high on my list of good professors at SMU.

Family Law with Weaver or wait until Thomas teaches it? Does anyone know if Thomas will even be teaching it in the future?
