I am SO there. Actually, I went to the Outlaw meetup at the ASW and it was a major factor in my decision to attend!volsi wrote:You better join Outlaw - we are huge and awesome. We're planning a bunch of stuff during orientation week, too. [Said as someone not actually on the board].

Never been surfing, but I've always wanted to try. I'd definitely be down.

I'm DTS! (down to surf). Anybody snowboard or ski? I just replaced my board/boots/bindings this winter went on a 4 day trip to Vermont and that was it for my season lol. Not even sure if there are mountains worth going to near DC, might just sell it and buy a new funboard, mines pretty beat up.

Hey, any of you guys hear back from campus housing (Gewirz) yet? Any idea when we'll hear if we get a spot/what kind of room we'll be assigned?

They extended the deadline to (I think) May 16th. Probably a good sign that we'll get a spot if we applied? I'm assuming we'll hear the week after the deadline.wiseguy33 wrote:Hey, any of you guys hear back from campus housing (Gewirz) yet? Re: GULC Class of 2014
haha i went ahead and filled out the form and paid my money today only to realize that the application deadline was the 13th not the 16th. I emailed them right away so hopefully they don't just take my money. I should probably not take tls too literally (especially when you prefaced it with "I think" man I'm and idiot)RTFM wrote:They extended the deadline to (I think) May 16th. Are there any stipulations in a merit scholarship from GULC?
My award letter did not state any.

I called and asked them a few weeks ago and they said only to remain in good academic standing, so basically don't fail.lawscholar20 wrote:Are there any stipulations in a merit scholarship from GULC?

Curriculum A:
I would prefer a lighter reading load, to allow more time for re reading and making outlines, whatever else I need to do. And just so I don't have to read as much.
Conventional courses will probably be more compatible with the available supplements.
B seems a little more labor intensive, and doesn't seem to offer any appreciable advantage in finding employment of any kind. If I really wanted to focus on theory and historical context, etc, it would be great, but I don't.

I went with Curriculum A. I like where Curriculum B is going with teaching the 'connections' between Torts, Contracts, and Property, but I like more the aha moments of making those kinds of connections myself. I also retain them better.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
