I finally got the employment packet. After hearing about it here I was feeling pretty discouraged about W&M. However, considering it in light of the more candid employment data from USNWR, and after looking at it personally, I'm feeling a little better. I think it's really cool that W&M has interview programs in a bunch of different cities. Do you think you can just go to a bunch of them and hope something works out? My understanding is that you don't really need ties for the DC or NY markets, and I've got personal and spousal ties to the Texas and SoCal markets...

If you're doing it in person, be baller and pay in nickels.

I can't attend ASW next week, but can I count on someone to take photo/video of the inside/outside/surrounding area of the lawl school?

I will do my best! If anyone is at ASW, I'll be the nerd with the camera taking pics of everything... ;)

I'll likely be there too-- my bracket's in 1st place in my office's pool, and I have to make sure it stays there.

Hi guys, my name is Tish. I can't wait to meet you either at the ASW or on the FaceBook page. I'll be able to pay my seat deposit here in a month of so. If anyone needs any good information concerning Williamsburg, I'll be happy to help. I've lived in the area for about six years. It's a beautiful and charming place.

If anyone is at ASW, I'll be the one watching the Sweet 16 games at the Green Leafe after the Friday reception :)
I'll probably also be at the Leafe on Friday, hope to see some of you there!

I never quite understood why so many tend to populate that hotel bar.

I'm an undergrad and I've literally never been to the Ho House before (but I have friends that go occasionally). The Leafe and Pauls FTW.

Hello!!

I was wondering... does anyone know if there are any nice very close to campus apartments that allow dogs? Hard wood floors would be amazing (carpet + dog = not fun).

I'm coming up for the admitted student event this weekend so hopefully i'll get to look around--but I was curious if anyone knows of anywhere offhand! Price is not really an issue.

Thank you!!

it looks like everything over there is to buy, not to rent. is there no downtown-ish area near the w&m campus that would have places??

Have you checked the list of apartments on the admitted students website? There are some in New Town.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
