Just jumping in the conversation. I'm glad I found this thread. Haven't visited yet, but barring a statistically-extremely-unlikely miracle, W&M will probably be my top choice. I'm looking forward to discussing it with you all!

To those heading to W&M, what aspects of the law program are driving you there? What areas of law are you guys interested in? Personally, I'm all for business law, and I'm hoping W&M will be a good place for it. Thoughts?

Low tuition, lots of scholarship money, and a good secondary market

I submitted my letter of intention today. I just wanted to jump on and meet everyone. I'm actually not set on any particular type of law, but am leaning towards corporate/business or technological-related law. (Does that even exist?) W&M's low-cost, scholarships, and storied history are what's bringing me there. If anyone wants to PM me to get acquainted before our first day, I'd love to meet you.

I am trying to decide between visiting on my own during March or going to the ASW.. thoughts??

I was definitely going to go to the ASW but now I just got into IU with 120k so want to visit them during March too, and their ASW is the same as W&Ms.

Snoring Meatball wrote:Visited today and loved it. The facility is beautiful, and Williamsburg is really cool. I'd been before, but I especially enjoyed this visit knowing I'll be spending 3 years in the area. I put some pics in an album. There aren't really any interior shots of the law school, but maybe people who have never been to Williamsburg will find them helpful regardless. I feel like I'm not supposed to include the link on here, but maybe I'm making that up. If that's right, let me know if you want it. If I'm wrong, let me know and I will include it.
Please send them my way. TYIA!

Maybe everyone is afraid to be the first. If no one joins until I send in my deposit, I will make the bold first move and join! Haha!

They have a military/veterans club. Yay :) (of course, that's not the only reason...)

Thanks for the help.
What are your stats? A majority of the decisions sent out from W & M at this time are waitlists/rejects... last year they came around this time..

Accepted on 01/19 via status checker after going complete on 01/11.

Received $10,000/year, with stipulation of good standing.

Stats are 3.82/164.

Well, now that my cycle is over, I'm pretty much 100% sure I'm going to W&M. I wish I could go to ASW, but I just don't have the time. Here's to 3 years in Williamsburg.
