Just jumping in the conversation. I'm glad I found this thread. Haven't visited yet, but barring a statistically-extremely-unlikely miracle, W&M will probably be my top choice. I'm looking forward to discussing it with you all!

To those heading to W&M, what aspects of the law program are driving you there? What areas of law are you guys interested in? Personally, I'm all for business law, and I'm hoping W&M will be a good place for it. Thoughts?

Low tuition, lots of scholarship money, and a good secondary market

I submitted my letter of intention today. I just wanted to jump on and meet everyone. I'm actually not set on any particular type of law, but am leaning towards corporate/business or technological-related law. (Does that even exist?) W&M's low-cost, scholarships, and storied history are what's bringing me there. If anyone wants to PM me to get acquainted before our first day, I'd love to meet you.

I am trying to decide between visiting on my own during March or going to the ASW.. thoughts??

I was definitely going to go to the ASW but now I just got into IU with 120k so want to visit them during March too, and their ASW is the same as W&Ms.

Visited today and loved it. The facility is beautiful, and Williamsburg is really cool. I'd been before, but I especially enjoyed this visit knowing I'll be spending 3 years in the area. I put some pics in an album. There aren't really any interior shots of the law school, but maybe people who have never been to Williamsburg will find them helpful regardless. I feel like I'm not supposed to include the link on here, but maybe I'm making that up. If that's right, let me know if you want it. If I'm wrong, let me know and I will include it.

They have a military/veterans club. Yay (of course, that's not the only reason...)

Hey, I Applied in mid-Novemeber and still have not yet heard back. I know they usually get back to people late, but if anyone has been accepted or received a scholarship can you please share your stats?

I'm currently deciding between Wake, American, potentially W & M, and potentially Fordham and BC (where I am wait-listed). Got a lot of money to Wake and some money to American, so I want to see if I have a shot at getting some money to W & M or not.

What are your stats? A majority of the decisions sent out from W & M at this time are waitlists/rejects... last year they came around this time..
