Book list predictions? Anyone get a jump on the books yet, or are we all just sitting ducks?

nope, but we can almost assume to know what classes we are taking from previous years.

Also I'd venture to say the sample flex schedule is accurate in regards to courses.

That wasnt a sample schedule, she said that was the final flex schedule (but no other sections are finalized yet)

Property, Criminal, LRW, and Torts.

OnceUponaMemo said Crim, Torts, and LRW are pretty standard for all first years, the only thing that might change is if you have contracts instead of property.

That may have been what I said, but if it was then I was wrong.

Everyone last year at least had Property, Crim and LRW in the fall. Then half the class will have contracts in the fall and torts in the spring and vice versa for the other half.

You're splitting hairs. My point in it being a SAMPLE is that it is a sample of what our (every students) schedules are in regards to the COURSES we ALL take. As in considering it does not list underwater basket weaving, even though the times are not accurate for ALL of us we can anticipate our courses to a reasonable extent.

Congrats on reading a sentence in one definitive manner though.

Do what I did; buy it off Amazon and return it after orientation! I don't think that you are going to buy the book for anyone else for less than the $3 in return shipping.

Wait... I see that Legal Process (the orientation class) is 1 credit, so that actually counts? Is it graded?

The registrar's page has finally been updated for fall classes, so those of us in the flex sections can determine our profs and course #s/assigned books (for the most part).

So I have a dilemma, and I'd be interested in hearing my classmates' thoughts. I'm in the Evening Division, and right now, I'm planning on working one part-time job averaging 20-hours a week. I'm now in the second phase of an interview with a VERY desirable non-profit for a second part-time job that would be 15-20 hours a week. Neither job is legal, but each is substantive in its own respect. I feel like this is do-able, but would I be shooting myself in the foot if I took both jobs? Maybe I just need a cold dose of reality to shock me out of this...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
