They said they can’t guarantee any decision dates, I’ve heard late July...ohladcsc wrote:Congrats! Mine is tomorrow. Hm, this is odd. I interviewed on Friday and I was told decisions would be made in 2 weeks at the absolute latest but more likely 1 week. I am a from a regional school so maybe those decisions are coming earlier?

Also interviewed this week. I was told 1 week, 2 weeks at the latest and I'm not applying from a regional school. Probably just a difference in the interviewer/the moment.snugglebun wrote:Hm, this is odd. Re: Chicago Law Transfer Thread 2019
The interviewer told me 2 weeks (at the latest). But I also have an email that said they would get back by the end of July. Factoring that its 4th of July weekend and they might be closed on Thursday and the fact that they have interview slots open for next week Monday, I was thinking they would be issuing mass acceptance/rejections/waitlist by the 15th of July.snugglebun wrote:Hm, this is odd. Getting nervous and excited to see if they will release it this week. Thanks for the update!

How were the interviews? Are they similar to interviews when getting into law school?

Re: Chicago Law Transfer Thread 2019
I didn’t interview for JD Regular. But I think the questions are comparable to other law schools. Make sure you know your application (i.e. resume, personal statement and etc). You should have a statement of why you want to transfer and why UofC. I had a couple of behavioral questions and then questions about my resume and professional experience. Make sure you have 1-2 questions to ask after the interview.getty wrote:How were the interviews? Are they similar to interviews when getting into law school?
Also Google UofC transfer interview questions and you should find some examples. Good luck!

Placed on hold; didn't receive an interview request.
Plan to withdraw if no decision is reached by the end of next week.

Admitted just now; status checker changed 7/10. School ranks 20-30, top 5%, no mid-west ties.
