Stats? And congrats!!!!
Thank you! I actually cried a little lol (it's been a really hard year). 3.52 GPA from a T2 school. I got a 3.99 my first semester and I don't really want to get into it but because of family events at the end of Christmas vacation and everything that followed after, my GPA wasn't very strong second semester. Anyway, I ended up ranking top 23% with a good 1L internship and a Research Assistant position.
Amazing! SO happy for you!
Thank you! Rooting for you! :D

Congratz! I was admitted right after the app deadline, and I'm also at a regional school. Northwestern def takes from regional school-Depaul, Loyola, Kent, John Marshall first. I attend one of those LOL

How's everyone feeling about paying sticker?

I got in last friday but I'm not accepting since I also got into Berkeley which is closer to where I'm from and where I want to practice. 3.78 (About top 16%) at a t20.

Any movement today? I saw that seat deposits were due for some at noon today. I figured that would lead to some afternoon admits.

Thanks.

Do they intend to enroll 35-40 transfer students or just admit 35-40 students. If they are just admitting 35-40 transfer students, I don't think there is any difference from previous transfer cycles. You have to consider all the people who decline Northwestern's admission offers because they get into Top 10 schools or choose a different school for other reasons. If they intend to enroll 35-40 transfers then yes, there would be a significant difference, but Northwestern just admitting that amount of transfers does not show any noticeable change from previous cycles.

Good point. I'm pretty sure my friend said that he was told 35 students would be enrolled.

I don't think so. If we're not accepted by the end of this week, it is most likely a rejection. If you look at the two previous cycles they sent out the majority of the last round of acceptances in the second week of July. I'm thinking we will hear something tomorrow or Friday (hopefully tomorrow). If not, you may want to prepare yourself for a rejection letter some time next week.

A lot of the deadlines are coming up/ have passed. I remember hearing someone from NW say they wanted to get everyone in before July so these people could have the opportunity for OCI and write on. At this point- it is most likely an uphill battle for people who haven't heard. I wish you all the best.

July 18 is the OCI deadline and July 16 is the deadline to get the list reviewed by advisor

I called. The guy in the admissions office said that the remainder of applicants should be receiving decisions this week. I don't know how true this is. The guy they have in there isn't very friendly and you can tell he gets annoyed when you call.

Did anyone create a transfer admit group? If not, I can make one if anyone's interested?

Also, is anyone trying to write on to law review? NWL process is pretty rough. At my old school I had one week and I wasn't working. :(

Team no sleep :(
