Transferring to NYU for GULC?
Wondering if I have any chance of getting into NYU transfer - 3.1 GPA (expected to be higher next semester), 3.9 undergrad, a lot of leadership extra-curriculars and prestigious government summer internship. Very strong ties to New York. How well would I have to do next semester to have a shot?

0% chance. Even if you got a 4.0, your GPA would be a 3.5ish. Not nearly high enough

But NYU's median transfer GPA is like 3.57...sparkytrainer wrote:0% chance. Even if you got a 4.0, your GPA would be a 3.5ish. Not nearly high enough

This is doable with a 3.5, definitely not with a 3.1. Depends on what happens this semester, but if only up to a 3.2-3 it’s still probably unlikely.
