USC, UCI, UCLA Transfer 2017

Post by tmichellev » Fri Jul 14, 2017 1:09 pm

Applied from a school ranked ~30
GPA: 3.48
LSAT: 161
Interested in international human rights, but also interested in private firm/business law for more pragmatic reasons!

Received acceptance from UCI right away, still waiting to hear from USC and UCLA. I applied pretty late in the game because I am on the quarter system and didn't receive grades till end of June.

Anyone else still waiting?
Any current students with advice?

How did UCI notify you? Snail mail or email? Also, what was your class rank? Your GPA is decent but without knowing your rank it would be difficult for anyone to give you good info.

They called me the day after I applied. My school only ranks the top 10% their 1L year, then ranks top 30% after 2L and 3L. Pretty annoying. So all I know is that I'm not in the top 10% but likely would be in the top 30%
