Michigan Transfer 2017

Post by Gunner19 » Fri Jun 23, 2017 8:09 pm

Didn't see a thread for this so figured I'd get it started while I anxiously check my email every half hour. I'm T1 top 18% so probably a longshot. Anyone in yet or heard anything?

Do we even have an online status checker for this? I've just gotten a series of emails from admissions about the app.

I emailed them about that and they said there was no status checker for transfers. I only got the email from the admissions office confirming they received the application.

What are people's thoughts on transferring to Mich.

Do transfers fare well into OCI? Do they end up being satisfied with transferring.

I'm international, so someone from their international office e-mailed me. I imagine the law school may have told them to wait until the call, but who knows.

I submitted on June 23rd.

Law school e-mailed me today. Doesn't look like they ever intended to call me.

I'm confused. Did you receive your acceptance by mail, and then get an email like 4/5 days afterward? Thanks

The law school e-mailed me on the 3rd, and I got the package by mail (outside the U.S. on the 4th).

(The international office e-mailed me on June 30)

Whats your deposit deadline? Trying to figure out when we might see some movement.

"Transfer candidates will be able to see their interview lists on Monday, July 24, and enrollment deposits will be due on Monday, July 24. If you have not submitted your deposit by 5pm on Monday, July 24, all of your EIW interviews will be deleted from the system and assigned to other students."

Told them no today. Good luck everyone else!

Can I ask (you can PM me) where you decided to go instead? I'm deciding whether to accept Michigan and it would help maybe. Thanks!

I think you actually commented on my original post so thanks for that!
