A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

I called admissions and was told that if your file is complete and under review, then you will receive a decision no later than 6/30.

In via email--figured acceptances would come by phone call so definitely thought I was rejected at first. Top 20% at a T20, so I felt like I was a long shot. Pretty shocked and will definitely be attending. Feel free to PM with any questions.

Congrats all who got in today! I transferred to Berkeley a few years ago and just graduated. I know TLS was really helpful to me in the transfer process, so I'm happy to answer any questions you guys might have here or via PM (especially to procrastinate bar studying). The only caveat is that I'm a PI person who skipped OCI, so while I know rough details about how my transfer class did at OCI, I am not the most knowledgeable about OCI. Congrats again :D
