If you're outside the top ten percent at MVP, you're unlikely to get into H or S. You don't have an insignificant shot, though.

I don't know where I rank, unfortunately.
It shouldn't be too hard to figure out by either (1) talking to upperclass students about the historical grade ranges; (2) looking through your school's TLS thread to get an idea; (3) or trying to ask the Registrar. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Without an accurate rank it is hard to say. I would imagine 1) no real shot at Yale, 2) unlikely shot at Stanford, 3) 50/50 at H?

Kinda guesswork though. Good luck! Remember that you're still in a great position even if you don't get the transfer though.

Slim chances at H - if you look up their 509 report you'll see that the 25th percentile GPA for transfers into H was a 3.88. Since you're at MVP you might have a little more leeway, but I wouldn't count on it. Possibly slim chances at S as well - they only disclose the 50th percentile, which was a 3.88.

Still, I think its worth a shot. Make sure your LOR from your law professor is as strong as possible.
