3.7 GPA (top 15%-20%, not sure as rankings haven't come out yet) at a T1 in California. Do you think I have a good shot?

TT school
3.77 GPA
No rank yet, should be between top 5-8%
Submitted my application on June 13th, and received an interview invite on the 14th. Have my interview today.

I'm T4, top 3%, strong CA ties.

It's a bit of a longshot for me, but why not, right?

Anyone know if they've dinged anyone yet?

Does anyone know how long the interviews are and what questions they ask?

Called in today for an update: "semi-rolling" admissions that will be sure to hear by the end of July, likely mid July.

Anyone know if the interview is a NEED? Haven't been offered one yet...

Based off precedent, it looks like an interview is required and that getting one is a VERY good sign.

Welp, I'll make sure to let y'all know how things go. I was accepted to Georgetown so I was hoping that I had good chances with UCLA.

I have a "good" feeling that this upcoming week we would hear something, since they said likely mid-july and it's time for Game of Thrones

Still haven't heard anything. I have withdrawn my application since I have placed a deposit at another school. Good luck to all those still waiting.

Still waiting.. I'm guessing I am in the "maybe" pile because I haven't been denied but I haven't been asked for an interview!

Still waiting...nervously! Two interviews a few weeks back. Anyone in the same boat?

To all those still waiting for a response, I wanted to tell you I was in your same shoes a couple of years ago. Submitted app, had the interview, and then silence for more than a month. Finally got the call around this time of the year. Good luck, everyone!
