In the past they have just sent emails for deferrals and they are usually after the acceptances go out. However, this being the last business day in April, I would suspect we get them around 5pm EST. today.TTTTtop6 wrote:Deferral/ding by mail too I'm guessing?

How often do EA deferrals get admitted during the regular transfer cycle?

Hi y'all,
First time posting but congrats to those who were accepted. Just an FYI for anyone who couldn't get backdoor access... I was never able to get access with the backdoor but I just received my acceptance letter in the mail today. I might be an outlier, but there's still a chance if you weren't able to access it.
Best of luck everyone!

So people are getting letters before emails? That seems so strange.

A lot of posts in this thread will frustrate transfer applicants for years to come, but none more than this one!
Those who have received mail, has there been any change on your application status page? Under the "Mailings" Box?

I haven't gotten my letter yet; I imagine it will not get here (CA) until next week. But I called and they said the first deposit of $600 is due May 10th.mibbs2017 wrote:Could anyone who received a letter please share what the deposit amount is and the deadline?

Deferred. However, this [mixed with some good news re: summer internship] has been infinitely motivating for my finals prepHelpMe!! wrote:Did anyone get dinged/deferred via email/mail today?

In via back door but I haven't received the letter. For those who received the letter, where are you located?

Re: 2017 GULC EA Transfer Thread
Received Acceptance Letter today. My permanent address is Texas.
Backdoor was unsuccessful for me, but I did not receive any email when everyone else got deferred. I also called in ahead of time like some people on this thread and asked when deposits were and received an affirmative deposit date when asked for my first and last name.
TTT 3.84 (~5%)
I've been through a roller coaster with this whole backdoor/email/mail situation, so I understand the anxiety everyone who hasn't been notified is feeling. I sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

Also, I'm interning in DC this summer, so I'll be in the hood well before EIW/OCI in early August. If anyone wants to get coffee and discuss our bidding / transfer-domination strategy, just PM!
Best of luck to everyone on finals this week!
