Try sending them an e-mail. I was waiting ages until I contacted them to ask if they needed anything else and they told me I was complete. Then I got the official, "Your Application is Complete" e-mail two hours later.

This is the first time I've seen NYU and CLS do rolling admissions for transfers. This will probably be the new normal now that transferring has become mainstream

I can't believe how fast I received my decision. I applied second week of July. Still can't believe all this is happening.

Congrats.

It increasingly looks like it's a true rolling admission process with an unannounced waitlist (if there is one at all).

Friend got in Friday after app going complete Wednesday. The admissions office hounded him to get all his stuff in daily from the time he first submitted part of his app.

They also didn't get all my materials right away, had some trouble with undergrad dean cert., but had it squared away by the next day.

Hii Nebby :) Do you know if there's some sort of Class of 2018 Transfer Facebook Group or something? Really hoping to connect with some fellow transfers before heading to NYC

There probably is. The transfer student org will reach out after you accept

Have any rejections come in yet? I haven't seen anyone post that they've been dinged? If we have not yet been accepted or dinged but went complete 3 weeks ago what should we make of this?

I just called admissions, the guy was very friendly. He stated that although they cannot of course give decisions over the phone that they can inform as to whether a decision has been rendered and perhaps not yet shared with us. A decision had not yet been rendered, which means it is still "actively under review by the admissions committee" he said.

He said there are definitely still acceptances coming in. Crossing fingers!

So from talking to other admits, it looks like the deadline to accept is 7/20. I feel like CLS is going to wait till after that date to see if they'll admit a few more kids based on the number of admits who decide to matriculate there. Even if that's true, I feel like at this point we're just SOL

How is everyone's EIP bidding going?

Also, does anyone know if transfers are at a disadvantage since the bidding for current students was last week?

No. The lottery isn't run until transfers submit bids

This is what I was told as well, but I find it odd that all students aren't given the same bidding window if this is truly the case.

I am still waiting on Columbia and got into NYU yesterday. The deadline for NYU is July 26, but I would rather attend Columbia. Is there an appropriate way to ask for an expedited decision? Just don't want to have to pay another seat deposit after paying for Georgetown's already.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
