Same boat. Really excited about the prospect of GW and transferring up. Depending on how my finals turn out, I will also be applying to a few T14s to see what happens. But again - really excited to have the GW acceptance.levofb1907 wrote:Congratulations to all!!

Transferring up? Would you do a semester at GW and apply to transfer again?billbraskysucka wrote:Same boat. Really excited about the prospect of GW and transferring up. If you're PT would it even technically be 3 semesters?levofb1907 wrote:pretty sure he means transferring up as in a higher ranked school this cycle. is transferring after three semesters of law school even permitted?WoodsyAtoll wrote:Transferring up? Yep, that's what I meant. If I did get into a higher school this cycle, I'd probably end up going there instead. Since I'll be paying full sticker price regardless and all...

You'll probably get an acceptance email by end of the day.taco the rabbit wrote:Status checker says "Decision made" today but it seems too early to get a rejection...TTT top 10% just sitting here slowly dying wondering if I'm going to get a rejection or acceptance email

In review 6/20 and status changed to "Decision Made" early afternoon today...
Hoping not for an early rejection this quick with decent stats and solid softs.
Are decision e-mails usually sent after 5 PM the same day or the subsequent day(s), with the understanding of the following: "If you do not receive a decision within 3 business days of the listed decision made date..."
My apologies, the anticipation has me quite anxious. . .

Congratulations to all the acceptances! I believe that I had read somewhere in this forum that GW will not extend deposit deadlines under any circumstances beyond the one-week date provided to submit a deposit in securing a seat. Can anyone confirm that this is 100% accurate?

I really hope that isn't the case since I got WL from GULC today and I'm seriously considering asking GW for an extension. But most likely I'll end up moving down to DC for GW and pay the deposit while holding out hope for GULCM_Law wrote:Congratulations to all the acceptances! Hey Taco, I am still in the process of receiving a decision from GULC but my deposit at GW is due by June 30th. I hope they grant an extension, although I believe it will only be slight. Any information or general knowledge of GULC waitlist process and/or decisions being rendered? Wishing you good luck.taco the rabbit wrote:I really hope that isn't the case since I got WL from GULC today and I'm seriously considering asking GW for an extension. The email today told me we could expect to hear a response as to our wait list status by July 29th but we could tell them what other deadlines we were working with (not like they are really going to care)...good luck to you too!M_Law wrote:Hey Taco, I am still in the process of receiving a decision from GULC but my deposit at GW is due by June 30th. Just curious: Were any recently accepted GW transfers notified of or awarded any merit scholarships?
Also, anyone having issues with logging on to the admitted students portal? I have been unable to register and log-in since yesterday.

Re: Official GW Transfer Thread 2016 (Class of 2018)
So just got accepted the other day and starting to look for places to live/roommates.
Anyone looking to room together pm me. We can see if were going to be a good fit and look at our options.
I am looking to stay in a cheaper place (i know i know its D.C) and also a 2 bedroom. I will have no car so it must be close to transportation or the school itself.
Congrats to all accepted!!
