Georgetown Transfer 2016 (Class of 2018)
Well, we might as well be anxious together.
I applied EA from a TT at approximately top 5-6%. Two CALIs and two strong recs for what it's worth. Here's to hoping.
I will try to keep this updated as best as possible. Good luck everyone!

Would be interesting to hear all the GULC applicant's career intentions; biglaw, gov't, public interest? I'm going for biglaw myself.

Hoping to do some international law related work myself and I think going to Georgetown would put me in the best position to do that.clshopeful wrote:Would be interesting to hear all the GULC applicant's career intentions; biglaw, gov't, public interest? I'm going for biglaw myself.

Clerk -> Biglaw -> hopefully (maybe ?) BigGov. I think working at State would be pretty neat.
No updates to anything yet. Requirements list went blank after my app was completed.sandydz2002 wrote:TTT top 4%, 5-6 years business consulting experience, 1 CALI, anyone notice any change in the status?

Wanting to submit my app soon but none of the professors I've asked for letters have done them yet.. Asked in early Feb. Starting to think they're deliberately being so slow so my chances are lower of being accepted places..

I don't see a reason not to submit when you're satisfied with your application. If you're applying RD, they won't even look at your app until May right? I also doubt your profs. are intentionally being slow; they're probably just slow... A gentle reminder could go a long way.clshopeful wrote:Wanting to submit my app soon but none of the professors I've asked for letters have done them yet.. Asked in early Feb. Nothing here either. I think sanded is right. Looking at previous cycles, looks like we don't see much activity till early april-ish.sandydz2002 wrote:nothing..I have been checking... according to last year, it seems April 2 is the date for the status change

The GULC website has been down "all" morning. Is it a sign? Are they messing with me? Did the IT guy/gal simply fall asleep at the helm? We may never know.Elfy wrote:Nothing here either. Haha I think we just need to remain calm focus on our work this semester until Mid-April which is when we'll probably start to see some changes....then we stark freaking out.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:The GULC website has been down "all" morning. Just to let you all know, the whole Wi-Fi network at the Law Center was down all morning, so the website being down was probably related.Elfy wrote:Haha I think we just need to remain calm focus on our work this semester until Mid-April which is when we'll probably start to see some changes....then we stark freaking out.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:The GULC website has been down "all" morning. Do admissions normally come out around April 8-10th? Through backdoor check?
