Submitted about two weeks ago. Never received a status checker, but I contacted admissions who confirmed my application is complete. They really expect you to ensure that you have submitted all the required forms.

I never received a status checker either. I submitted my application on 6/14 and I was accepted by phone on 6/23. Still waiting on a couple more apps but Ann Arbor would be great!

Congrats! I transferred to Michigan 2 years ago, and am happy to answer questions (instead of study for the bar).

They don't provide status checkers to transfer applicants. You have to email admissions to ensure your application is complete.

Has anyone heard anything else from Michigan in terms of their Timelines? From what what I understand OCI bidding starts next week.

Seems like most acceptances were finished by July last year, but they might be moving slower this cycle. If OCI starts next week, I have to imagine most people will hear by Friday.

My application has been in review for around 2-3 weeks apparently and no one has heard anything back, kind of frustrating for them to cut it so close to OCI.

Transfers can begin bidding on July 9th and I think bidding closes on the 16th. I had my decision within about a week and a half (complete on June 14th and accepted on the 23rd). Good luck to everyone!

Anyone else been accepted? Last year they seemed to have finished making offers by around July.

So based on previous years, acceptances seemed to roll in by phone call until about mid-July. Those who were rejected received a letter in the mail towards the end of July.

Has anyone else heard anything from Michigan? Seems to me that things are moving pretty slow this year.

admitted over the phone last week (TT; top 8%; 3.7). strange that they're mailing accept letters; no matter, I've gotten all the relevant info through emails. now on to write-on and eiw

Anybody willing to give any additional info on stats or timeline?
Dates that you applied, went complete, your LSAC report was requested, etc? I feel like I applied kind of on the later end (I only went complete last Thursday) so it isn't too bizarre that I haven't heard back.

Kind of a long shot anyway, but I'm in the top quarter at a T25 school, with strong Michigan ties, and a desire to practice in the area and a 1L SA at a Michigan firm, so we'll see.

Best of luck to the rest of you!

Applied at the end of May, application went complete first week of June, accepted yesterday. No status checker so can't give specific dates. LSAC typically gets requested the day you submit your application online, or at least it did for every one of my applications.

You seem like you'd be in with a good shot, email them and find out. I emailed them every 2 weeks just for a status update.

When you say that you emailed them for a "status update," do you mean that you checked to see if your materials processed or that you asked about decision timelines?

to see if materials had arrived and been processed. Once they said it was in review I didn't ask again.

Last year they took 19, if that's what you're asking.

And the website says "roughly 25" are admitted, if that helps give any idea.
