Anybody here applying as a transfer to UPenn Law School?

Yup, i just submitted today. 3.70 at rank mid-40s. Anywhere from toop 5-10% of my class. Have a masters degree from columbia as well and solid field work. Anyone want to comment on chances?

caliiscalling- how long after your file went complete did they send the interview request?

Yesterday got an interview request for 6.23. Previously switched to ready for review on 6.17.

It had been labeled complete for a week but my school's class rank just came out on wednesday so I had it emailed to them on wednesday and then I got the interview request the next day

Bump. I'm wondering the same. Has anyone had their interview yet? And like with UChicago is the interview more of a formality/clear sign you were accepted?

Not really sure where you are getting the idea that a Chicago interview is a clear sign of admission. They definitely interview more than they accept. That being said, I'm sure getting an interview anywhere is at least a good sign.

My interview is Thursday so I'll keep y'all posted. Reading last year's thread makes it seem like it was a formality but I'm not putting all my eggs in that basket.

I also had two UR status date changes and no interview request. I submitted about two weeks ago. Hard to say for sure how Penn is treating the interviews, but I feel like it can't be a great sign...

wondering the same thing as mickm1. I went UR on 6/22, though my status date says 6/23. My chances are about that of winning the lottery but I am born, raised and live in Philly & I've wasted $80 on worse things. I think my class rank is coming out this week and hoping I can send them that and get an interview request but I am from T4 and looking at past Penn transfer threads T4's consistently get dinged swiftly regardless of numbers. I too am curious if an interview is necessary for acceptance. I put in an application which was UR since 6/12. Based upon prior year stats, I should be good, but I have not received an invitation to interview.

Top 10% from a T1 (40-50) with a 3.80 gpa.

This year is weird. 10%. T20. I did not receive interview either. Just wait with patience.

Yeah definitely a different approach this year. T20, top 15%. No interview.

Best of luck if anyone gets in today ! It seems from past threads people who had interviews received good news shortly after.

Just finished my Skype interview (she's awesome btw) but she said we should have decisions before the 4th of July.
