FYI OCI Bidding is from the 17-23, so there is still time. I haven't put together a bid list so I imagine you're in the same boat as the ED transfers.
I think on TLS 8 were admitted ED, and 2 so far RD. Last year they took 23 transfers, so I guess there is still hope, but they are really cutting it close!
My friend was admitted ED and he said there were 15 of them.
11 out of the 21 people on the facebook page are new admits, the rest of us are 3L's. There could very well be 15 assuming that there are people who never joined the group
Yeah, seems like they have admitted the bulk (if not capacity) as of now, and just held some students in case the admitted transfers bail.

I got a nice, respectful email saying that they are very impressed with me as an applicant and would like to take a few weeks to make a decision. I interpret this to be a very polite way of saying that I'm waitlisted.

Yes, it was definitely a standard form letter. And no, I never interviewed.

What exactly is the difference between a hold and a waitlist and is one more promising than the other?

Pretty sure University of Chicago just uses the term “hold” instead of “waitlist”

Anyone treating this like a formal waitlist and writing a letter of continued interest?

Anyone who was accepted or on hold withdrawing based on getting into other schools? Wondering if spots for those on hold are opening up.

Hey everyone. Congrats on everyone that's been accepted so far, and good luck to everyone still waiting. Be sure to join us over in the TLS Transfer Cycle 2015 (Class of 2017) thread once you know where you're headed!

Hey sorry to necro an old thread. Was wondering if anyone in your cycle was removed from hold and accepted? Thank you.
