For future posters reading: You know your admitted if your status checker says "Decision Letter Sent." The first wave of acceptances went out on 7/1/2014. Here's an example of an admit's wait:

Relevant information:
First round of acceptances went out on 6/28/2013 last year. (App complete 6/21/2013)
NYU seems to have a quick turnaround.

My Stats:
T2
Top 2% (GPA 3.95/4.0) (School only gives rank in 5% increments. The Rank Estimator says about top 2%)

After April 1, except under binding early decision plans, every applicant should be free to accept a new offer from a law school even though a scholarship has been accepted, a deposit has been paid, or a commitment has been made to another school. To provide applicants with an uncoerced choice among various law schools, no excessive nonrefundable deposit should be required solely to maintain a place in the class.

Nebby has your NYU app gone complete? I spoke to admissions and they have had all my materials since last Friday. Just waiting for them to check off the boxes.

EDIT: as of this am all boxes are checked off and narrative is "application being processed"

OP you may be off on the first acceptance.

The decision letter arrived on 6/28/13. That's why I chose that date, rather than the date it was mailed.

Yes. It happened in response to my CAS report finally being sent (it was delayed because had to update UG transcript). I think I am more or less "complete" despite not having the questionnaire since iirc that's not a huge deal until accepted.

It sounds like you're on the right track for an early acceptance. I am hoping to go UR today or tomorrow. Is anyone else all checked off but not under review?

Submitted Sunday night, but had transcripts and all that jazz sent a week earlier when I'd already decided I was applying but hadn't written statement. Boxes still not checked tho

Based on last year's earliest timeline of UR -> acceptance, this year acceptances could go out next week on the 24th or 25th.

Last year: UR1 Friday 6/21 -> UR2 Mon 6/24 -> UR3 Tues 6/25 -> Accept Thurs 6/27
This year: UR1 Wed 6/18 -> ? ? ?

Following last years trend, next week sounds right ?

Did anyone else get a status date change today? My status still says "Application being processed" but the date changed from 6/17 to 6/19.

still at 6/17. I believe it updates throughout the day, though, so I'll check back later.

Mine updated at 530 last night (I checked before I left work and after I got home) I agree w TB ...CN you should hear back by early next week

i did not have an update yesterday but I emailed them to reflect law review this am and they said that they would forward my updated resume to the adcom today. So hopefully updates today.
