T14 Transfer Status Change Thread Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Apps submitted Friday. Already under review at UVA as of this morning -- hopefully that doesn't mean my app is so bad they just want to throw it out O.o

T2(80s) Top 5% (highest grouping you can be ranked, but my gpa is above the cutoff)
I've been pretty proactive e-mailing the office with updates too.

Edit: Also, my PS was centered on why i wanted to go to michigan

Still incomplete at Harvard and Columbia. Sent the last items to them about a nine/ten days ago.
Good luck to everyone, especially traehekat (hawkeye, right?). Hopefully we all end up at our dream locations next year.

No, but I spoke to someone there last week and he said they had all my information. He told me it should be updating to complete, but that hasn't happened yet.

Still nothing at Chicago since my deferral. Seems odd that they're reviewing RD's given that all they need to do is look at our (ED) spring grades.

is there anyone out there who applied to chicago and didn't do ED?

do they have a status checker? do they send an app recieved email?

i applied well over a week ago and haven't even gotten a confirmation email.
