Baylor/SMU/UH ----> Universit of Texas <TRANSFER OR STAY>
Top 5-10% at a school in TX.(Baylor/SMU/UH)
Would you transfer and risk your GPA and law review or stay?
How would big-law career prospect change if I do decide to transfer? How about judicial clerkship and academia?
I know SMU & UH places well in their respective cities.
I would prefer to work in Dallas or Houston since they have a larger legal market.

SMU and UH place very well in Biglaw in Dallas and Houston, respectively, and, if you go to one of these schools, you should have quite a good shot at Biglaw in your city with top 5-10% and LR. I don't know how you would fare at OCI as a transfer at UT - no one knows how OCI will be this fall until it happens, and I have no knowledge of how our transfers usually fare.
On the other hand, your clerkship and academia chances will be greatly, greatly improved if you transfer to UT and do well in your 2L year. UT blows all the other Texas schools out of the water when it comes to clerking and academia.
It will have to be your decision. Personally, if I was only interested in Biglaw, and I was in your shoes, I'd probably stay at SMU/UH. If I wanted the opportunity to clerk or get into academia, I'd probably transfer.
If you go to Baylor....transfer as fast as you fucking can.

OP. Almost full tuition scholarship at the current school.
Should I still transfer?
Any stats on clerkship/academia for UT?
Thank you for your inputs.

Well, for the 2010-2011 term, at least 60 people are clerking. I think all were 3Ls, but I'm not sure if that number includes any alums.
19 of those will be clerking on federal circuit courts (including federal circuit). I think we have at least one clerk on each circuit this year except for the 3rd, 1st, and D.C. I'm not sure on the remainder of the breakdown - maybe 25-30 will clerk for federal district judges, and the rest are for federal magistrate judges, bankruptcy judges, state high court judges, except for one or two people who are clerking for state intermediate court judges.
With that scholly (which you will presumably keep until graduation now) I definitely wouldn't transfer if I wanted Biglaw. If you are dying to clerk, well, that's gonna have to be up to you.

Any idea where one needs to be in their class at a top 25 to transfer to UT?
