Has anyone been a Graduate Associate (or even a Resident Advisor) at one of the College Houses at Penn? Does anyone know anyone who has been a GA?
I'm curious because being a Graduate Associate actually sounds interesting and I think doing something non-law related will help keep me sane.
I would like to get a better idea of what all the duties entail and if being a GA will prevent me from participating in the many law school/student activities.
EDIT: This only matters if I get accepted.

Re: Penn Housing: being a Graduate Associate
My GA at Penn was a law student, and he seemed pretty happy. I know he had a girlfriend, but other than that I can't answer for his social life. You do get a sweet apartment. It was East Asia House, so he also got to do fun stuff like taking us to dim sum and having Lunar New Year parties.
