Anyone want to grab dinner in the near vicinity?! I'm too tired from travelling to worry about journeying about on the metro, but I'd like to meet people!

Sorry, that sucks. My MTW are going to suck though. Thursday is light and Friday is nada, once LM is done. Until then, I have it at 3 on Fridays. I think, and this is just my assumption, that the LM schedule is two fold. The top line is for pre Sept 7th and the bottom line is for when real 1L classes start.

I was under the impression (and from what a 2L told me) that Legal Methods ends completely before regular classes start. (although the final isnt until oct 1). legal practice and legal research, however, keep going along with regular classes.

Probably too late for tonight but now that I've settled in I'm definitely up for meeting new people and exploring places to eat/drink.

PM for details.

I PM'd you for details and all I got was a violent and highly sexual PM in return.

Yes, that's what we like to call a "joke."

dude, no offense, but I have seen you ask about 10 questions in this thread that can be easily answered by just looking through the materials they sent us. it says in the orientation schedule that there's a financial aid meeting tomorrow at 4 pm where we can immediately afterwards receive our private loan checks. :)

Ah but that requires due diligence and what not, how tiresome.

I thought I remembered hearing that, but I couldn't find any immediate material to confirm it. Thank you

Haha, no need to thank me since the information was just totally wrong.

I shouldn't get on TLS when I first wake up, completely ridiculous statements like yours actually have plausibility at that time of the day. Anyway some people left early, but the official answer was that disbursements would begin processing now and we would likely get our money later this week or early next week.

Quite frankly, I'm much more interested in knowing who the stripper was.

I like this idea of selling books to each other. I need the following: Contract Law & Theory- Scott, Contract Law & Theory Secondary Materials - Scott, and Tort Law and Alternatives - Franklin - Rabin - Green. PM me if you have any of these are are willing to sell. Thanks!
