Re: UCLA Law Class of 2013
Hey, so I don't have a printer yet, so I just popped into the law library to print out the stuff for orientation. I figured that I'd have to swipe my Bruincard or something to print, just because that's how it worked at my old school, but instead it printed out a coversheet with my name and said something like "COST: $.20, REMAINING BALANCE: $149.80." I only had $25 on my card, and I didn't even swipe it, so I'm wondering what this $150 balance is, because I don't think I ever set it up -- presumably it comes out of something I already paid for somewhere, but is it just for printing? Anyone know about this?

You get $150 worth of "free" printing. When you pay $40,000 to go to school, there are some perks over undergrad--nicer facilities/libraries, free printing, etc.

Oh, cool. I figured I bought it, but I guess I did. It's like free cocktails in first class on an airplane.

Ahh we're so close to beating out Berkeley:tranandy wrote:UCLA posted its 2013 class stats:

UCLA just needs to tighten up it's yield and increase it's GPA margins.

Don't forget that UCLA's class size is about 10% bigger than Boalt's. If they were the same size, UCLA would've probably had better numbers this year. If tuition can be kept in check or UCLA gets more generous will scholarships, yield and all the relevant statistical measures should continue to improve. Those are big "ifs" though.jay115 wrote:Ahh we're so close to beating out Berkeley:tranandy wrote:UCLA posted its 2013 class stats:
