I did know this, but I kept thinking maybe the emails had some significance. Maybe someone had jumped the gun and mailed out a bunch of financial aid emails to the applicants they liked before the decisions had been finalized or something. This process is making me delusional, I know

Regardless of one's political affiliations, today a BC Law alum has been elected to take Ted Kennedy's seat. Not to mention Scott Brown had been featured in the buff in Cosmo while he was at BC. That's what our future will be like boys and girls.

And on a side note, as I've mentioned in the other BC thread, both of Massachusetts active senators are BC Law alumni-- I like it.

LSN doesnt look too promising and LSP has you at a weak consider. You never know though if you have some strong softs.

That be a YP. They may deny doing it...but they do.

I am!!! Question - my dad is coming for the trip...we're unsure about whether it is appropriate or not for him to attend the open houses? What do you think?

BU specifically says they cannot accomodate guests at the open house. Don't know about BC. I really would have loved to go to BC's open house, but they have been so terribly slow in getting merit aid scholarships out that I decided to visit BU, who was very expedient in getting this info to me. If BU really wows me this weekend, then I'll be very close to signing up there. Its a shame, since I certainly would have given BC a shot if they had gotten the merit aid info out a bit quicker.

I haven't heard from either school yet about $$. I was admitted to BC awhile ago and am waiting to hear, but I was just admitted to BU on Wednesday. When do you think I will hear from BU about any kind of merit aid? Should I call them about this?

my mom and dad are coming with me to both. didn't know about BU's policy on guests, but since my parents are footing the bill, I think they have every right to visit. glad i picked to go to BC's open house and BU for just a regular tour since they're hating on families!

If its just for a tour, then of course you could bring guests. BU just said they can't do guests at the ASD.

Hmm, 1L @ BC here. I think it might be a little awkward dragging your dad around when you are trying to socialize with the law students/prospectives.

If I was able to view my financial aid award online and it only has loans listed...should I assume that I will not be receiving any scholarship aid?
