Alright, y'all need to get out and vote on Wednesday, someone decided to run against me. Which means your vote is more than a sign of your support: it is the difference between a beautiful tomorrow and inevitable chaos!

...Ok, so I am being dramatic. But you should all still vote. If you know Spanish, it should be pretty easy to figure out which candidate is me.

I don't respond well to fear, even faux fear, sorry.

I would vote, but this whole "getting out" requirement sounds like a pain.

OCI question (possibly stupid):

Do I have an interview?

Invitations: Alternate accepted

Interview dates: Scheduled for February 9th

I'm on the schedule with all the names in time slots.

Told you I was easy to out. Also doesn't hurt that I am a 2L and am running against a 1L. So that is really easy to figure out too.

Yeah I'm in a time slot. Thanks, I couldn't find information on the "alternate" status anywhere.

Wow, really? I am incredibly easy to out. In any case, I was the second name listed on the ballot.

If there is a bigger waste of time on this planet than LARW, I'd love to know.

This appellate brief problem is exceedingly complex, as well. It's a bad sign when the one of the chief cases on point starts out like this: "There is no polite way to say this: The statutory scheme we are required to parse in this case is a mess. It is a model of ambiguity and misdirection." But somehow we'll all just figure it out and make splendid arguments, or not.

Just did some math and realized that my appellate brief has almost no impact on my 1L grades so I'm going to see just how bad I can make it without provoking him enough to give me a 2.5

All I will say is that admissions is lucky prospective students don't realize how much having graded LRW blows

Oh, I realized it. At ASW I asked an LRW prof basically why I should come to a school with graded LRW.

That incident is one of the pitfalls of having alcohol at the ASW reception.

Sadly no, although that would have made it even more surreal.
