Lately, a lot of places that I've found as potential residences have certain income requirements. I am currently showing proof using financial aid forms indicating the amount of cash I'll be receiving. Is this a normal occurrence?
Are places that have income requirements *too high* for a law student's budget?

The apartment complex I am renting at for the fall required proof of income. I just showed them my financial aid reward summary from my school and they were fine with that.
