UNH Law (Franklin Pierce)

Post by barkingbug » Mon Apr 05, 2010 12:19 pm

I plan to send my deposit in this week. There is a fair amount of uncertainty surrounding the affiliation/merger, but the name change is essentially a done deal.

Please share any info you might be able to add. Here is a good read for those looking for more on the merger:

I'll be sending in my seat deposit this week also. I'm not 100% attending yet, but I've only been waitlisted at t1/t2 so far and pierce gave me a nice scholarship that will definitely keep them at the top of the list. As someone with experience in the patent field and wanting to work in patent law, their 2008 average starting salary of $150,000 in patent law is certainly appealing. I'll definitely have to check out the campus before making a final decision though.

Thanks for the heads-up on asking for more money. Unfortunately, I won't be making it to the ASD this weekend because of my wife's work schedule. I hope to attend the one in May.
