I'm seriously considering Oregon and wanted to get this thread going.

Has anyone already committed to Oregon? If so, what influenced your decision?

I'm also seriously considering Oregon. I have sent in the first half of my deposit as it is a very serious contender. There are only two other schools that might have a chance at beating it but i haven't heard from one of them and it's a reach for me so i'm thinking no and the other is a waitlist.
However if i do end up at Oregon, I will still be very excited (maybe not about the weather though! I'll miss So Cal )

I'm in the same boat as momo_08...I'm strongly considering Oregon, especially since they're offering me some money. However, I'm still waiting on some SoCal schools and already have one Tier 3 offering me full tuition...every day I struggle to figure out what I'm going to do. I am going to Oregon's Admitted Students Day on April 10th, hopefully that will shed some light on what Oregon has to offer...any thoughts from those of you out there
