Admitted. I'm going to visit in a couple weeks. Everybody says NC is beautiful so hopefully it lives up to the billing.

Hey guys. I committed to UNC last week. I'm stoked. I took this year off after graduation and didn't realize just how long a year is...I'm ready to start!
Is anyone looking at housing yet?

Got in late january, still trying to decide. I'm from Florida, finishing UG in Texas. I'm in at Boston College and some others that don't compete with UNC. I'm waiting on SMU, Texas, Vanderbilt. I think I am going to the April 16 ASD. Did anyone feel like the ASD was a lot more helpful? Anyone go for a tour and think it was sufficient?

Courtyard by Marriott is about a mile away. I stayed there for the last ASD.

Has anyone else mailed in their seat deposits to UNC? I mailed my deposit on March 2nd. I received an-email the next day confirming receipt of my deposit. However, it has been over a month now, and UNC still has not cashed the check for my seat deposit. I assume most schools would be making those deposits right away.

That's really weird. I just got the email confirmation of my check a few days ago. I need to see if it's cleared. I'll let you know.

I mailed my deposit March 26th and received email confirmation March 29th. I check my account everyday and it has still not been deposited.

Thanks for the feedback. At least, I know I am not the only one. If I remember correctly my application fees were deposited right away, so I was a little surprised by the delay this time around. Oh well, the money will be patiently waiting for them when they decide to deposit..

Thanks! Perhaps, they are waiting for the seat deposit deadline, and will then make a mass deposit. Keep me posted

Got an email from Jennifer Kott this evening about a facebook group for our class through the Carolina Law Ambassadors. The name of the group is Carolina Law 2013. You will have to submit a request to join.

I turned in my application close to the deadline, and am not surprised that I haven't heard back yet. Has anybody else who turned their application in late heard back yet?
