NM. I see your LSN profile now. I too am in a similar situation with their scholarship and other acceptances. Alabama has been great to me. Will you be at the ASW on Jan 22?

No, not on Jan 22. It's 3 days from my anniversary, and I could either go to the ASW or be married another year LOL. We plan on both going in either March or April.rapstar wrote:NM. Haha. I'll be sure to post how the weekend goes and my overall impressions of the school and town. Congratulations on your decision to attend and your upcoming aniversary.

Thanks man, this is just two years, so we're still in the happy newlywed phase (don't see any reason we won't always be lol). I know you will love the people. Of course everyone has different expectations for what kinda town they like and what they want their law school experience to be. I hope you enjoy the weekend and consider Bama strongly. Be advised that they do negotiate, and they appreciate straightforward bargaining.

Bama's certainly on my short list at this point. Just depends on what kind of money they offer me. What do you guys think I'll get with a 3.74 and 165? Anything?

I know it's been awhile, JM, but I was out of touch lol. Just looking at LSN you should definitely get some $ with those numbers.
A 165 3.23 got $69000, which is about 5 grand short of full tuition every year. Another 165, 3.67 got 39,000 which is full instate.

Thanks for the response. I'm hoping you're right. I applied two weeks ago, though, and I'm still incomplete with is somewhat bothersome. I called admissions this morning and they said they were just really backed up right now. Bama: please don't run out of money before getting to my app! lol

I think its time to resurrect this thread out of the doldrums of winter and get some Alabama committal activity going! Good LORD! No posts since Jan?! Is anyone other than me and Trucker wearing Crimson next year? That will make for a VERY interesting curve

I might be, I paid my deposit there and at Wake Forest. I'm very much on the fence but I might end up at Alabama.TruckerD wrote:Mrs.Trucker: I hear crickets, and it makes me sadhwstewart wrote:I think its time to resurrect this thread out of the doldrums of winter and get some Alabama committal activity going! They didn't have a problem with it (i.e. neither requires you to commit and withdraw from other schools when depositing)? (I ask because I'm looking at doing the same).tarheel87 wrote:I might be, I paid my deposit there and at Wake Forest.
