Hey GW is one of my top hopes, and I was just wondering if anyone here was or knows someone who was accepted to GW with 3.35 and 170 and applied in early January? Any money?

if those are like your numbers you have a good chance at a lot of money if you apply early and make it clear you are interested.

anyone want a torts hornbook (prosser keaton), i ordered an extra one by accident and i'd prefer to sell it off than go through the hassle of returning it

Can't apply early, not taking the LSAT until Dec. and applying for 2011 admission.

I got in with those numbers and the December LSAT. No scholarship money.

We're anonymously in the same section? Were any of you in my group, with Thad? I was the annoying one. But not gunnerly. Maybe I should just become gunnerly and get it over with.

I wish I'd been in Section 11 for this. I could relate to their case.

At least you kids got to do the briefs properly(ish). I didn't even know we had to do them until this morning, at approximately 8:30, when I read the notice that was sent out at 6:45am-ish. My briefing session was at 9:30. The most annoying part was that I expected to have to brief a case, couldn't find anything about it in the materials they gave us (okay, so I didn't actually look at the orientation website - just clicked through to the schedule awhile ago. My fault) and assumed that the "Case Briefing" session was a gracious hour of them telling us how to brief a case. Very much sucked.

I didn't feel too embarrassed even with knowing nothing, that was nice too.

Sorry to bust into y'all's thread, but I'm working on the GW app, and there's a question about if it's ok to call your family and/or recommenders. Did they actually call your parents last year?! I think it's really a bizarre thing to ask.

It is kind of a weird thing to ask, I agree. But no, nobody called my parents about anything.

Anyone else in section 13 noticing our blossoming gunner?

edit: maybe thats not fair, he may not be a gunner, but he is a blossoming annoying commentator.
