Help Picking a Firm

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Aug 24, 2019 5:29 pm

So my two options presently are Hunton Andrews Kurth (DC) and Perkins Coie (DC). I’m wanting to do environmental work (litigation and regulatory) and work in DC in the short-term. But long-term, I’m looking to the West Coast, namely Northern CA or Pacific Northwest, for family reasons.

I liked both offices a lot. It seems (just on paper) that HAK is better for environmental work in DC, but Perkins would be better if I want to stay at my firm and transition offices. So my basic question: should I be favoring my short-term or long-term goals? Also, i’d love any input on the offices specifically. Thanks y’all.
