Your summer bonus is currently sitting in escrow pending close on a partners third vacation home. Sorry.Arad wrote:Where tf is my bonus?
Mods, can you please delete dump posts from summers and make sure this is bumped up instead of spending 15 hours a day un-anoning people?

Re: Mid-Year Bonuses
If firms want to wait until the end of the year to top up my bonus with the extra 30K+ they should have distributed during the summer, I guess that's fine. But if this year ends up being no less profitable than last year and there's no extra money, I'll be pissed.

You’ll get to see your bonus some time next year when partners start showing pictures of their new vacation homes/lambs.

Also if anyone thinks this will mean more $$$ for end of year bonuses, they’re fooling themselves. Bonuses aren’t about revenue. It’s about good publicity for firms.

Honestly activity in this thread is even more demoralizing- every time somebody posts I'm hoping it's news of a firm dropping that $$ but then I see it's notthelawyler wrote:It’s dead isn’t it

Re: Mid-Year Bonuses
Milbank's 15-spot jump in the Vault rankings today seems like an interesting new data point for firms to consider. Now that it's clear the market doesn't consider Gunderson to be a comp leader, it seems like a more traditional v100 firm has a wide open path to the associate goodwill and commensurate bump in next year's Vault rankings that will follow if they can show that they're the ones who moved the market on summer bonuses this year.

Time for DPW to smash the market with summer bonuses to stop it's decline into mediocrity.4LTsPointingNorth wrote:Milbank's 15-spot jump in the Vault rankings today seems like an interesting new data point for firms to consider. A DPW partner was just showing me how high quality his dpw branded messenger bag was.
Apparently he picked it.

On a serious note, is anyone expecting bonuses at all this year? Have to admit I'll be a bit peeved not to get one, given that I am on pace to greatly exceed my target...

Goodwin has told people they plan to pay "market" bonuses for people hitting their billable reqs. So just depends on what "market" turns out to be.

Re: Mid-Year Bonuses
I think firms at the top of the PPP ladder will hand out market bonuses (same as last year). Most firms who cannot compete will give little to nothing.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:28 pmGoodwin has told people they plan to pay "market" bonuses for people hitting their billable reqs.
