Try again?
I am applying a lateral junior associate through a recruiter, and heard nothing for 2+weeks. Should I try again myself without recruiter? Per the job description, I’m a good fit. I told the recruiter about the position and I used him because I was not sure how to do it, but he turns out not very responsive.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get around the recruiter fee.

Re: Try again?
I have the opposite question: I applied online and haven't heard anything. Should I try again with a recruiter? I received a lot of emails about this particular position, but I applied myself because I wanted to avoid the recruiter fee. Now I'm worried that I'll get lost in the shuffle without a recruiter.
