I got a weird email from latham California last week. They invited me to lunch with just one mid-level associate and stated it was not an interview. When I got there, the lunch felt a lot like an interview. Was this a screener? or something that's common and I'm just reading the tea leaves too much.

@ Latham Anon:

Had a similarly questionable interaction with a non-LA Latham office. Specifically said it was not an interview but it felt like a screener. No news from them other than a "thank you for applying, we're reviewing apps, don't be cry if you don't get it" kind of email.

V10 CB late last week and V25 CB today, applied late (after receiving grades). What is the likelihood of CB > Offer? Assuming much less of a sure thing than an OCI CB?

Doubt there’s really a set number/percentage, I CB’d at what I think are one of the same firms. Thinking next week will have some movement though

Any more info on NYC and D.C. movement? I have a West Coast offer and I am not sure if it is worth waiting to hear from the East Coast.

Which West Coast region? I applied to LA places and a few of them said they're going to start looking at applications now.

CB request from non-NYC V20 this week. Didn't have a previous screener.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
