If Cravath associates are all billing 2400+, then couldn't you read that chart to predict a 20% increase? SM is not the one who sets the floor.

SM won't set the floor, but they're low key crushing it right now. Hopefully the scale shoots up!

Depends on the firm. Some on 12/31, some Jan 15, some Jan 31.LM1936 wrote:when are bonuses usually paid? New first year here

Some in mid-March I can think of nothing that would immediately improve associate moral like moving up the bonus payment.Yardbird wrote:Depends on the firm. Some on 12/31, some Jan 15, some Jan 31.LM1936 wrote:when are bonuses usually paid? New first year here

Re: BONUS 2018 discussion
My firm pays them the business day before Christmas (which I think is great). We have an hours cutoff and don’t have a January-December billable year, for whatever that’s worth.

My guess is that they stay the same. I would be floored if they went up the same years salaries went up.

Usually the first Monday after Thanksgiving. I’m going to keep the hope alive. STB will raise.
