advice on references/recommenders for DA applicaitons

Post by nasra234 » Mon Sep 24, 2018 11:24 am

To everyone who's gone through the process of applying/interviewing for prosecution jobs straight out of law school: when asked to provide references or recommendation letters, is it ok to use references or recommendation letters from professors you've had before law school, say, from your undergraduate or graduate school?

Honest question that is not meant to be snarky:

What do you think professors from undergrad or grad school can say that law school professors/your 1L/2L summer job bosses can’t say?
