First year (about to be a 2nd year). Corporate M&A associate at a V50.
Trying to lateral to DC from another market, and eligible to waive into DC bar. Strong ties to DC area.
Any recommendation on going about this process? should i use a recruiter or just constantly check firm websites? Any recruiter recommendations? Am I just too junior to get any good bites at this point?

Re: 1st year lateral to DC
Bump. Any tips for generally lateraling as a first year, regardless of market? Use a recruiter or direct apply on your own?
