Re: Honors Programs 2018-2019 (Non-DOJ)
Received an email today from HUD asking if I wast still interested and saying that offer letters are going out next week.
Just for background: Had an interview in mid-November, got references checked a couple of weeks back, and got a phone call earlier this week about continued interest (I didn't see that until today, which probably explains the extra email about interest).
I withdrew but best of luck to everyone still in the running!

Yes, they did have interviews and references checked soon thereafter.

Did they have interviews or have their references checked?[/quote]

I received a call from HQ this week asking to confirm my interest in the program. I wonder if this means we are finalists?

Not sure, keep in mind that when deciding on offers, HUD is both deciding who to make offers to and to what region or division the offer will be made. So they might be calling people to inquire into whether they're still interested in a particular office, and those who don't get called might still be offered their second or third preference. That's my guess. But I don't want to give anyone false hopeAnonLawStudent wrote:So those who did not receive a phone call or an email are out??

I’m not an insider, but I wouldn’t say that. There’s the possibility that people will decline offers or they may end up extending more.AnonLawStudent wrote:So those who did not receive a phone call or an email are out??

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like we will know next week either way. Good luck everyone!

Did you get a phone call or an email asking if you’re still interested before you got the offer?

I received an e-mailed offer from HUD this evening too. I tried to post earlier, but I don't see the response, so I'm posting again.Anonymous User wrote:Just got the offer by email, so you should all be on the lookout.
And to the person asking whether the e-mail was preceded by a the call asking about continued interest, I received that call this week before getting the offer today.

Yes, for HUD. I got the offer at 5:37 pm yesterday by email.
For reference: I had my interview mid-November, had references checked out the next day, and I did receive the call this week.
Good luck everyone!

I tried to post earlier as well, but my post just became available. I think is because the admin has to approve them. Are you planning to accept? I called the number on the letter and left a voicemail accepting already.

Hi, has anyone heard from the DOL Honors Program? I got one follow-up email asking me to provide my preferred cities in November, telling me I was still in consideration, but I haven't had a follow up. Thanks in advance

For HUD I received my offer last Friday night! I haven't heard from the other Federal agencies (DOT and DOL) so I decided to accept the offer from HUD.
I am very happy.
Good luck to everyone!

For those accepting their offers from HUD, are you just leaving voicemails accepting the offer or did you have any success reaching her?

Has anyone heard from USPS? I interviewed a few weeks ago. My process status changed from "hiring list" to "selection list" this week (after being "pre-screening" before and after my interview). I don't know if that's a good sign or bad sign.

Do people think that HUD is done sending out offers? Additionally, do you think it makes sense to reach out to them and tell them I have another offer (while letting them know HUD is my first choice)?
