Changing jobs 3L summer

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Aug 16, 2018 4:30 pm

Hi all,

I’m hoping for some advice. I accepted a position at a regional firm last summer. This year my professor who’s a partner at a V20 told me about a position and I interviewed and was offered a position. I would like to take it but I am concerned about the career damage this could cause. I know when I worked in the business world this was viewed as acceptable but career services made me concerned this could ruin my career and even be a character and fitness issue. Does anyone have any experience with this? I can’t imagine I’m locked into not accepting a career changing position but also do not want to ruin my career in the process.
