A quick question about OCI

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Jul 21, 2018 6:49 pm

A partner told me to contact him if I get a screener when I attended the firm reception. But I did not get one through the OCI lottery even though I ranked the firm in my top 15. What should I do now? Should I reach out? Thanks!

Contact him anyway, if you contact and he helps, you get a screener. If you contact and he doesn't help, no harm done. If you don't contact, he can't help anyway.

Yes, contact him. You could get an interview anyway. Or nothing . . . no harm done indeed, and it shows interest.

You unfortunately did not get an interview through OCI but are curious if it’s possible in some other way.
