Is it rude to ask the timeline for a summer associate offer?
Title pretty much says it all. Is it rude to ask when a firm makes a decision regarding offers to come back after a summer associate position? I was thinking during my end of summer review. There is literally no junior person to ask this question (firms pretty new in this city).

Not rude. Perfectly reasonable question.

IMO, it should be a standard question you ask in all interviews.
