I'm OP, but yea I'm all but sure they do since I had a firm reach out to me for a transcript update saying that the deadline for their pre-selects was Friday (I'm a quarter school, hence my initially incomplete submission--don't want to cause any unnecessary anxiety for others)

I think final schedules include lottery, I'm more curious about pre-select for now

How many people typically go/how coveted are the spots/do we know whether we're a pre-select or luck of the draw? First time doing a lottery system, so not really sure how it works. Lol.

I bid Covington, Boies (let's hope they raise their salary soon!), Keker, Orrick, Cooley, Sidley.

Does it mean the result will come out on July 5th or July 9th? Also, it would be Cali time I assume?

Past BADCF threads suggest that results trickle down beginning the announced dates and may continue till the last announced date. And yes, Cali time.

All my 26 are still "pending." Pre-select will release on July 9. I have no idea why they release alternate first.

i can see alternates on the 'employer directory' list--i had 5 that were "alternate" and i could either accept or reject from that page directly. fwiw i accepted all 5 and now can't change them, so I'm not sure what effect that has on final pre-selects but oh well, just doin my best here lol

People who were selected as alternates got an email from the organizer asking them to accept/decline. The organizer told me actual pre-selects come out July 9th, and they won't be coming out any earlier than that.

I don't think alternates affect pre-selects, but it may affect your final interview schedule -- I believe if you're an alternate and get an interview, if you're at the max # of interviews (10 I think) then your schedule will drop the firms you bid the lowest.

Were we supposed to accept/reject alternates right away? I had 3 in the morning but don't see anything now.

OCI web page shows they postponed alternate sign-up to July 11 - 16.

Preselects are out. The alternates that I accepted last week seem to have re-appeared.

Anyone know if Fenwick, A&P, and Morgan Lewis are out or not?
Trying to decide if i were not invited or they firms haven't made their selections yet.

Also, anyone knows about the likelihood of getting a cooley interview with an alternate?

Can people confirm what firms are out yet?

I can confirm Baker McKenzie and Paul Hastings.
