Crazy. I knew they were crushing it but it's only a few years since they opened Houston, and like 10 months since they opened Boston.

K&E isn’t going to hire summers at OCI this year for an office they haven’t announced is opening.

Seems to me they won't be interviewing for Dallas in 2018 OCI season - likely, they can rely on taking returning 1L's from the firms they hire laterals from.

At my t14 they are interviewing for Houston, but not the Dallas office. If I interview for the Houston office would it be okay for me to mention that I would also be interested in the Dallas office since I am from Dallas?

I probably wouldn't mention it, but if they otherwise really liked you, I doubt that the expression of interest in Dallas would be a dealbreaker. And would you really be interested in Kirkland Dallas? Any ideas/guesses as to whether the dallas office will be looking to hire any 3Ls, or will they be focusing mostly on lateral associates/partners at this point?
