Perkins Coie pay scale?

Post by j.chvd » Fri Jun 22, 2018 2:11 pm

Does anyone know what Perkins Coie's pay scale is for their Seattle office? Phoenix office? Other offices located in their secondary markets? Really loved the firm when I interviewed for their Chicago office (which I know pays $180K), but that office doesn't do the type of work I'm interested in, unfortunately.

maybe for Chicago, but indications are pretty clear that the answer is a no for firm-wide raises

They've never matched firm wide. Most of their offices are in places they don't have to worry about doing so.

SV will likely match.

There's a two-track pay scale at the Seattle office - when the world went to 180k, Perkins bumped Seattle starting salaries to 165k with no change in hours requirements and 180k with added hours (100 more, IIRC).

Weird. Do associates elect which track they're on at the beginning of the year or is the determination made at the end of the year based on hours actually billed?
